Alex Doley

I am a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate and a Primary Care Paramedic with over 12 years of experience on the front lines. My therapeutic practice focuses on helping first responders, men, and individuals who have experienced trauma navigate their challenges with resilience and compassion. I integrate approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and principles from Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). Grounded in empathy, understanding, and a commitment to authentic connection, my practice aims to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to explore their experiences and develop lasting, meaningful change.
