Call for Research Paper Submissions

for the

9th International IEDTA Conference

“New Frontiers in Experiential Dynamic Therapy”

26-28 September, 2019
Boston, Massachusetts, USA

We invite you to submit an abstract for the 2019 IEDTA conference research symposium and poster presentation. The Research Symposium will form part of the opening day of the conference and will address the whole conference audience. The Symposium will last for two hours and include multiple short presentations.

We welcome submissions describing: (1) an original empirical study; and (2) a proposed brief review of the empirical evidence on a topic related to the theory or practice of EDT. Abstracts should describe the study methods and results. There should also be a clear statement on the relevance of the topic to EDT clinicians and/or the clinical implications of the study findings.

The theme of the research symposium will align with that of the conference and will focus on emerging applications and settings for EDT. Oral presentations will be 10 minutes long with an additional 5 minutes for audience questions. All accepted abstracts will be invited to be presented as a poster.

Submissions should include:

  1. A written abstract (maximum 200 words)
  2. Please indicate willingness to provide a poster and/or oral presentation
  3. At least two learning objectives related to the paper
  4. A brief up to date CV
