On behalf of the IEDTA Board and Conference Committees, I am thrilled to announce that the IEDTA’s 9th International Conference, on “New Frontiers in Experiential Dynamic Therapy,” will take place in Boston, USA, Thursday 26 September–Saturday 28 September 2019. The conference will be located at the Hyatt Regency Boston hotel, in the heart of this historic, vibrant city.
Our primary co-sponsor for the conference is William James College (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology), a local degree-granting institution with extensive experience providing and marketing continuing-education events for mental health professionals. Together with our other co-sponsor, the Washington School of Psychiatry, the conference will offer continuing education credits for all the major disciplines.
Our Conference Program Committee, co-chaired by Allen Kalpin and Risha Henry, is hard at work planning the content.
September is a great time to visit Boston. The weather is mild and the trees are starting to take on their fall colors, especially if you take a short drive north. It’s a great time to tack on a New England vacation, and get to know the history and beauty of the surrounding area.
More announcements will follow in the coming weeks and months including a call for submissions, discounted room rates, early-bird registration, and so on, but I wanted people to know as soon as possible so that you can all save the dates!
