Of coure, the conference will also feature master therapists who are long time contributors to the field.
Members of a growing IEDTA community can be found in many different places, spread all over the World from Malaysia, Australia to Lebanon and Israel, to many countries in Europe and, of course, Canada and the U.S.A.
EDT is growing and developing. Many training opportunities are offered all over the world by master clinicians which include: Allan Abbass, Kees Cornelissen, Patricia Coughlin, Habib Davanloo, Jon Frederickson, Robert Neborsky, Kristin Osborn, Josette ten Have-de Labije, and Susan Warren Warshow. Training of trainers, master classes, and summer schools are organised by several master clinicians.
Our upcoming conference is dedicated to the effects of trauma and how EDT therapies can contribute to the healing its effects in our patients. World-renowned trauma expert Bessel van der Kolk is our keynote speakers so as to offer the most up to date clinical research. During this conference the theme of trauma will be highlighted in presentations on research, theory and case examples. Students and teachers, junior as well as senior therapists, will bring forward their work and question periods and panel discussions will provide an opportunity for discussion among presenters and with members of the audience. Supervision and other teaching issues will be brought forward, as well as detailed analysis of initial interview dynamics. New EDT teachers can meet and discuss with each other and we’ll even have a live demonstration of EDT with master clinicians.
This year’s conference incorporates many new and interesting features which, along with the very important theme of trauma, should make this a most compelling and thought provoking learning opportunity. So, be sure to register and take your place at this event.
