23 May 2014 By IEDTA Website

Susan Warren Warshow and Jon Frederickson will be teaming up again in Los Angeles on September 27/28, continuing their gratifying partnership to discover increasingly effective methods to teach both the art and skill of “Penetrating Defenses to Awaken the Self.”  Watch Susan and Jon “co-create” relationships with clients that are collaborative, respectful and capable of profound intimacy.

  • Disarming Defenses with Compassionate Interventions
  • Attending to Emotions and Somatic Signals
  • Sustaining an Intrapsychic Focus and Therapeutic Alliance
  • Accessing and Processing Buried Affects
  • Healing Through Authentic Attachment
  • Applying an Evidence-Based, Accelerated Treatment

Susan Warren Warshow, LCSW, LMFT, is the founder of the DEFT Institute (Dynamic Emotion Focused Therapy), offering an ongoing training program that is held monthly in Los Angeles.
