An Introduction to the Theory and the Techniques of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy: Treating Patients with Resistant Depression and Patients with Psychosis

This workshop will be held in two parts. In the morning from 9.00am – 1.00pm the theory and the techniques of the standard form and the graded format of ISTDP will be thoroughly presented by Dr Kostas Monas and Dr Elpida Vasilopoulou and with the use of video from real sessions which will explain the theory. These presentations shall be in Greek. In the afternoon from 2.00pm – 6.00pm Dr Allan Abbass will present (also with videos of real sessions) the way to treat patients with resistant depression and patients with psychosis using the ISTDP modality. This presentation will be in English and will be held by teleconference.
