Amsterdam 2016!

27 November 2016 By IEDTA Website

The IEDTA’s 8th International Conference, which took place in Amsterdam 3-5 November 2016, was a smashing success! Over 300 therapists were able to attend presentations by luminaries and up-and-coming stars of the Experiential Dynamic Therapy field, almost all of which include video recordings of psychotherapy. This year we opened with a symposium on EDT research; we also included several live demonstrations.

At the conference, we announced that the UK’s Jessica Bolton will assume the IEDTA presidency in January 2017, succeeding Kristin Osborn, who has led our organization ably since 2012 and will remain on the IEDTA Board. We also celebrated the contribution of two of our founders, Michael Alpert and Allen Kalpin, who are leaving the board at the end of 2016.
