I provide treatment to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties driven by dynamics that are often unconscious. Consciously, you may experience things like intrusive thoughts, self-doubt, inadequacy, low self-worth, over giving, over working or relationship dissatisfaction. Together, we can understand the mechanisms behind these symptoms and the purpose they have served.

It is my belief that we are wired for connection and healing. We are shaped by a deep desire to be known, seen, and recognized as we navigate this human experience. We all have the potential for growth from the very start of our desire to know ourselves on a deeper level and regain our vitality.

I have a special interest in working with adults experiencing anxiety and depression who find themselves in caregiver positions either professionally or in their relational patterns. I have extensive experience working with adults who were exposed to domestic violence as children and as adults. Adults who struggle to assert themselves, and often feel like the way for them to have friendships, intimate relationships, or familial relationships depends on prioritizing the needs of the other. I also enjoy working with maternal wounding especially in the mother daughter relationship. I use ISTDP as a foundation for my work with an emphasis on self compassion work
