As the founder of the Asheville Center for Couples & Families in Asheville, NC, I collaborate with 10-12 other psychotherapists and mind-body workers in providing treatment to children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families.
I, myself, work with and/or am certified in several experiential and affect-focused models: AEDP, ISTDP and EFT; and have a particular interest in both trauma and somatic conditions (which, of course, can be related).
I also supervise in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) and am Faculty Emeritus with the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), where I continue to teach and consult.

As Faculty Emeritus with the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), I continue to help develop their Couples Certification program and regularly teach (EDT-related) sections of those courses.
