Who Should Attend
Mental health professionals who are in a position to videotape psychotherapy sessions with adult patients

Format of Training
During the three year Core Training in ISTDP we meet four times a year, for three days at a time (i.e. 12 x 3 day blocks of training over the three years). We cover the theory and practise of ISTDP across the spectrum from neurotic to fragile character structure.
The three-day blocks of training include:
- didactic presentations on theory and technique
- powerpoints
- review and discussion of videotape of technique
- readings
- skill building exercises
- role playing
- individual supervision within the group
In addition to the three-day blocks of training, participants attend small group supervision by Zoom on a monthly basis.
