ISTDP for Treatment Resistant Depression—First Danish Immersion in Davanloo’s ISTDP with Dr. Allan Abbass

In this two-day videotape based immersion course, Dr. Abbass will demonstrate how patients with treatment-resistant depression can be helped with ISTDP. He will provide a brief overview of Davanloo’s Metapsychology of the Unconscious. Abbass will describe the spectrum of patients who can be treated with ISTDP including how to do a psychodiagnostic assessment to determine resistance and anxiety tolerance. Finally, the workshop will turn to interventions in the Central Dynamic Sequence, including pressure, challenge and head-on collision with resistance, as well as the proper timing of these interventions.
The fees are:

2.500 Danish Kroner (ISTDP core group members, members of the Danish Society for ISTDP, and full-time students)
