Learn the Foundational Elements of EDT and Discover Your Path Toward Mastery with Michael Alpert and Kristin Osborn

Michael Alpert, co-founder of the IEDTA, and Kristin Osborn, past president, offer this workshop to teach the foundational elements of EDT and share new techniques and theory.

This highly interactive workshop will help you understand yourself and your work with your clients. You will have the opportunity to participate through role-plays, case consultations, live and video demonstrations.

You will learn how to use Malan’s Two Triangles for assessment and interventions, as well as, a new triangle, the Triangle of Self. 

Michael Alpert, MD trained with Habib Davanloo and has developed treatment models and training programs including Accelerated Empathic Therapy, Sensation Therapy & Self-Connection Therapy. He focuses on helping therapists and clients discover new ways to experience themselves.

Kristin A. R. Osborn MA, LMHC trained with Harvard Medical School psychologist and researcher, Dr. Leigh McCullough and founded the Certified APT™-Training Program in 2009. She has a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is Director of the Harvard Medical School Psychotherapy Research Program. She is president emeritus of the IEDTA and co-authored the book, Paraverbal Communication in Psychotherapy: Beyond the Words (2016). Her passion is teaching clinicians how to integrate research in their clinical training.
